Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge is a magnificent lodge concession awarded by the North West Parks and Tourism Board within the existing Pilanesberg Game Reserve. It lies in an exclusive-use zone in the south-western portion of the 57,250ha Big 5 and malaria-free Reserve, offering commanding views of the distant bushveld amphitheatre.
The Lodge acts as a central gathering spot and social environment for guests, as well as the point from which all activities depart and return. Guests can enjoy two guided game drives daily, which are conducted in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve’s Wilderness Area during the morning and evening in an open 10-seater game viewing vehicle. These outings take three to four hours, with a sundowners stop at sunset, and a coffee stop in the morning.
Experience the best of Pilanesberg accommodation with the hallmark of the entire Shepherd’s Tree: flawless finishes, featured architecture and exquisite interior design.
